مؤمن اگر در اوج توکل باشد و هیچ چیز غیر از خداوند را منشاء اثر حقیقی نداند، وقتی گرسنه است و غذا را سرسفره میگذارند، امیدش به سیرشدن باوقتی که غذایی بر سر سفره نیست، تفاوتی نمیکند! چون آن غذارا علت سیر شدن خودش نمیداند، بلکه اراده خدا را علت آن میداند.
